        Welcome to sun-kissed by erin. (That's me!) I LOVE the sun! My parents had a pool so growing up as a teenager, so my friends and I were constantly outside sunbathing and then jumping in the pool every five minutes to cool off. We would set a timer to know when to "flip". 

        When it wasn't summertime (we live in NY... so 10 months out of the year) I would go tanning...who wants to be pale? Unfortunately back in 2006 I had a scare...a skin cancer scare! I found a dark freckle on my back. I actually tried to wipe it off because I thought it was dirt. I got that dreaded call two days after my dermatologist appointment. "Erin , are you sitting down..., " said the doctor. "Well...that spot on your back actually is something...MELANOMA...the worst form of skin cancer one can have."

       Needless to say, I don't lay out anymore and I don't go tanning! I get SPRAY TANNED...the smart and healthy way to tan that takes just a few minutes!
